Hi Cuties, 

Tawny Marilyn the website started off as a book. I wanted to share my life lessons and wisdom that I learned the hard way. I had this big fear of publishing though. I may still turn this into a book. But for now, I wanted these lessons and love for life to be accessible to everyone. Even if I had this giant fear of sending my work into publishers. So in true Tawny fashion I made my own way to publish that feels authentic to me while still toeing the line. 

As I grow and evolve I will add more lessons and wisdom and life comes at you fast, so there may be times that I contradict myself. If you are with me for a while and you notice those contradictions, please ask questions, comment, and let’s have a little dialogue. I look forward to hearing from you and even hearing your tips and advice from your lessons in life. 

My goal is for us to come together, struggle together, and ultimately grow together. I will be honest with you even when it is ugly and a little messy. Because what is life if it’s not a little messy sometimes. Thank you for joining me on this journey. I cannot wait to see the mess we get into, let’s make it beautiful! 

Oh and I hope you don’t think I am going to leave you here without my first lesson. Do the thing. It will get scary along the way but that doesn’t mean give up. Sometimes the scary feeling is anxiety or nervousness that can be a sign that you should keep going, you’re almost there. Other times, it will mean that you should find a new way of doing the thing. If it is on your heart and on your mind, do the thing. Step out of faith and take that risk!
